Meet the Staff
Max Hoerr II grew up in the construction industry, starting as a yard boy in his father’s construction company; in which he was a part of until 1994. He then became President of Hoerr Construction. Hoerr Construction is a company that specializes in underground construction. Max is a dedicated father of seven and highly devoted to his family. His prime business philosophy is: Give our customers the highest quality possible at a reasonable price and still provide excellent service to our customers.

Bob Kilbride is the Vice President of Hoerr Construction. His primary responsibilities include profitability thru strategic planning, by keeping the company focused within the business plan. Bob has a strong background in financial planning and is a C.P.A. Bob regularly estimates water and sewer main projects, and occasionally works in the field.

Tim Runkle is the Project Manager for Hoerr Construction and has been involved in the on-set of directional drilling. Tim has been a speaker at seminars regarding the state of directional drilling. Tim has bored, hammered, and augured all types of conduits and casings. Also, Tim is in charge of employee training, customer quality assurance, scheduling of work assignments, and assisting in the bidding of telecommunication projects.

Rick Baldwin, Mechanic
Rick is the head mechanic and has 21 years of experience.
Ron Stake, Superintendent
Ron has 20 years of experience in building, industrial, and utility construction. He also has a strong background in manhole and conduit construction.
Jim Pool, Superintendent
Jim is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer construction.
Larry “Shine” DeBord, Superintendent
Shine has 10 years experience in restoration and landscaping and 8 years in directional drilling.
Dan Helfers, Superintendent
Dan has 10 years experience in directional drilling casings, gas main, and water main.
Jeff Classen, Superintendent
Jeff has 6 years of experience in directional drilling, water and sewer construction, and telephone work.
Eric Yaste, Superintendent
Eric has 5 years experience in Industrial Vacuuming and Water blasting and is manager of the Industrial Vacuuming division.
David Steffen, Project Manager
David is a new addition to our team. David spends most of his time estimating and managing projects, and occasionally works in the field.
